For my first production at Outlier, I project managed, produced, and directed our Intro to Statistics course. This was all during the pandemic’s peak, so it was done 100% remotely and ended up being a fantastic success!
Responsibilities included:
Project-managed and created production schedule for the 9-month project
Managed overall production budget
Led casting for all instructors within the course
Led rehearsals and walkthroughs with instructor and guest lecturers in the three months leading up to production
Remotely scouted instructor homes and solved how we could make bedrooms, garages, and living rooms into viable production spaces
Remotely directed all 11 chapters of our course
Provided notes on video and graphics in rough cut, fine cut, and final cut reviews to our fantastic post-production via Frame.io, concluding with 15+ hours of wonderful video lectures!
